About Dr. Denner
Raised in Marvin, North Carolina, Dr. Matheau Denner attended Marvin Ridge High School. Dr. Denner received his Athletic Training degree at the University of Alabama – one of the top programs in the country. Dr. Denner was able to work alongside some of the best athletes and medical staff gaining invaluable experience that would help him as a chiropractor.
Dr. Denner later attended Logan University where he obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Specializing in treating musculoskeletal injuries, sports injuries, post-concussion syndrome, pregnancy/pediatrics, and geriatric conditions, Dr. Denner is committed to helping people achieve a better and happier lifestyle through a functional and holistic healthcare approach.
In his free time, Dr. Denner enjoys playing/watching soccer, reading, being outdoors, and spending time with his family and friends.

How is a treatment session typically structured at Denner Chiropractic & Performance?
Our treatment approach is always one-on-one and hands-on. Typically a follow-up visit is 20 minutes and begins with a quick assessment of your functional improvements followed by a comprehensive care plan that involves a combination of joint manipulation, soft tissue work, rehabilitative exercise, dry needling, and other techniques.
What is the advantage of being seen at Denner Chiropractic & Performance instead of a medical doctor for joint and muscle pain?
While medical doctors are excellent at diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions, they may not have the specialized training in conservative healthcare that we do. Our extensive training in manual therapy allows us to provide the best possible care for musculoskeletal complaints. We will refer you to the most appropriate provider if additional diagnostic imaging or treatment is needed.
